Census Bureau releases report analyzing correlation between census statistics and federal grant fund

The report takes into account the funding formulas used by the federal government to disburse billions of dollars of federal funds to areas around the country using information and data collected by the Census Bureau.

The report estimates that the federal government distributes $436 billion using population and income data compilied by the Census Bureau.
